Welcome to MDF. We're on a mission to To improve the lives of the people by reducing the burden of communicable and non-communicable diseases and social inequalities affecting orphans, vulnerable children, women and the elderly in Cross River State. The 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence is an annual international campaign that kicks off on 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and runs until 10 December, Human Rights Day.

International Day of the African Child April 12, has been celebrated every year since 1991, when it was first initiated by the Organisation of African Unity.  This day raises awareness of the continuing need for improvement of the education provided to African children.

To commemorate this day, #MDF in partnership with #PickAfrica #CRSPHCDA  took to the streets and the most popular open field for street children in Calabar talking to people about the dangers of violence against women and children, child abuse and the need to protect the rights of children. Below are Moments from the International Day for Street Children celebrations.
