The International Day of the Girl Child is celebrated annually on October 11 to empower and amplify the voices of young girls around the world. The theme, this year, is #DigitalGenerationOurGeneration 
Today, with Madam President Mediatrix Development Foundation Dr.Mrs Linda Ayade we mark the day together with students of Government Girls Secondary School, Big Qua Town Calabar, as we reaffirm our pledge to protect girls, promote the progress they make and safeguard their rights.
