Welcome to MDF. We're on a mission to To improve the lives of the people by reducing the burden of communicable and non-communicable diseases and social inequalities affecting orphans, vulnerable children, women and the elderly in Cross River State. The 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence is an annual international campaign that kicks off on 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and runs until 10 December, Human Rights Day.

55 women from Adagom1, Adagom 3 and Okende Refugee settlement have received three days of extensive training in modern tie and dye techniques; they were taught the process of tying and dyeing fabrics.
Skills acquired from this training will provide these women with the skills needed to train other women, start a small business in their communities and this will specifically empower them economically.
The training was sponsored by Mediatrix Development Foundation in partnership with UNHCR as part of efforts to reduce unemployment, and help participants become self-reliant.
